| The Mossad: Israel’s Famed Spy Agency Appoints Two Women to Top Roles in the Organization

The Mossad is the national intelligence agency of Israel. It is one of the main entities in the Israeli Intelligence Community, along with Aman (military intelligence) and Shin Bet (internal security). The Mossad is responsible for intelligence collection, covert operations, and counter-terrorism. In August 2022, the Mossad made history by. announcing it had appointed two women to senior roles in the organization. (Their names were not revealed, for obvious reasons.) There are now four women in the executive forum that leads the agency.
